Tier 1: Exceptional achievement or leadership skills (nationally ranked swimmer, winner of United States of America Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO), or internationally recognized musical composer).
Tier 2: High levels of achievement or leadership skills (i.e. president of well established clubs such as Model UN; all-state selection in orchestra, etc.)
Tier 3: Extended participation in extracurricular activities (i.e. participating in a club throughout high school, playing a varsity sport, competing in regional musical competitions)
Tier 4: Limited participation in extracurricular activities (i.e. participating in a club for one semester, giving piano lessons to a neighbor, etc.)
